Job description
The role supports and optimizes the development, integration, and maintenance of operational support systems, covering middleware platforms such as IBM ESB, Broker, BPM, and MNP alongside Java Spring Boot applications. Responsibilities include coding, system updates, troubleshooting, proactive monitoring, and providing technical support to ensure seamless system functionality. The position manages and optimizes API integrations with internal and external systems, performs system health checks, resolves complex system incidents, collaborates with network and infrastructure teams on performance issues and integrations, and ensures timely handling of security patches, updates, and enhancements. The role includes documenting incidents and resolutions, coordinating with departments for operational applications and web services, liaising with vendors for troubleshooting and system improvements, managing software licensing, ensuring proper backup procedures, and assisting with data recovery to minimize downtime during failures.

- Demonstrate advanced expertise in IBM ESB, Broker, BPM, MNP, and Java Spring Boot for monitoring, integrations, and change implementations
- Manage and optimize API integrations with internal and external systems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system incidents to ensure minimal service disruption
- Provide technical support for system users and troubleshoot system issues
- Assist in performing system health checks to ensure smooth and efficient application functionality
- Proactively monitor operational systems to maintain optimal performance
- Work with infrastructure teams to address system performance issues and support system optimization
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to handle integrations, security patches, and updates
- Coordinate with other departments to support web services and operational applications
- Assist in incident resolution to ensure quick closure of support tickets and reduced downtime
- Document incidents and resolutions following IT support processes
- Work with security teams to ensure systems follow updated security protocols, patches, and upgrades
- Assist in identifying system vulnerabilities and supporting security improvements
- Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting, support, and system enhancements
- Manage software licensing for supported systems to ensure correct sizing and timely renewals
- Ensure proper backup procedures are in place for critical systems and data
- Assist in data recovery operations to minimize downtime during system failures
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorās degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology
- Bring a minimum of 7 years of experience in operational support systems or related fields
- Demonstrate advanced expertise with IBM ESB, Broker, BPM, MNP, and Java Spring Boot
- Show strong capability in troubleshooting and resolving complex system incidents
- Possess experience in API integrations, system monitoring, and system health checks
- Exhibit understanding of system optimization and collaboration with infrastructure and network teams
- Demonstrate knowledge of security patches, system updates, and vulnerability identification
- Show ability to manage software licensing, backup procedures, and data recovery operations
