Job description
The Senior Brand Trainer at Chalhoub Group for Tory Burch in the Middle East is responsible for delivering exceptional training across Luxury Fashion and Beauty categories. The role involves developing and implementing yearly training strategies aligned with brand objectives, retail priorities, and business goals, identifying training needs through performance analysis, KPIs, and stakeholder input, and designing learning journeys in collaboration with Chalhoub University. The trainer creates and delivers engaging sessions in-store, in classrooms, and digitally, implements follow-up strategies for knowledge retention and behavioral change, and measures training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance indicators. Responsibilities include observing and analyzing team performance on the shopfloor, developing tailored action plans, providing ongoing coaching, supporting managers in reinforcing training initiatives, collaborating with brands to ensure accurate and up-to-date training content, and integrating fashion trends and market insights to enhance selling confidence and customer engagement. The trainer also monitors outcomes, provides reporting, and continuously improves training content and delivery methods. Travel across stores in the Middle East may be required to ensure effective on-the-job learning and training implementation.

- Develop and implement a yearly training strategy aligned with brand objectives, retail priorities, and business goals, ensuring structured and impactful learning initiatives across all stores.
- Identify training needs through performance analysis, business KPIs, and input from stakeholders to address gaps in knowledge, skills, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with Chalhoub University to design and implement innovative learning journeys and training strategies that enhance team performance and brand knowledge.
- Create and deliver engaging and impactful training sessions in-store, classroom, and digital formats, ensuring knowledge retention and behavioral change through follow-up strategies.
- Observe and analyze team performance on the shopfloor, assessing selling skills, customer experience, and brand standards, and develop tailored action plans to close performance gaps.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to individuals and teams in partnership with store management, supporting managers in reinforcing training initiatives effectively on the shopfloor.
- Collaborate closely with the brand to maintain accurate, up-to-date training content, serve as a liaison between brand and retail teams, and integrate trend and market insights into training materials.
- Monitor training outcomes, provide regular reporting on performance improvements, and share insights and recommendations to continuously enhance training content, delivery methods, and overall team effectiveness.
Experience & skills
- Experience in a store leadership role within Fashion retail or in a Training role within fashion retail, demonstrating capability in developing and delivering training content.
- Flexibility to travel within the UAE and across Middle East stores to implement training programs and support on-the-job learning initiatives.
- Strong understanding of luxury brand standards, retail operations, and customer experience expectations in the fashion and beauty sectors.
- Ability to observe, analyze, and assess team performance, develop action plans, and provide coaching and feedback to drive measurable improvement.
- Competence in collaborating with brands and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate, brand-aligned training content and leverage market insights.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering multi-format training sessions (in-store, classroom, digital) and implementing follow-up strategies to ensure knowledge retention.
- Skill in monitoring training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and KPIs, with the ability to report outcomes and recommend improvements for continuous learning.
