Job description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Legal Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in contract administration, specifically within engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of contract law, including drafting and negotiating agreements, providing legal advice, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with FIDIC and other regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage contract administration for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide legal advice and support to project teams regarding contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and mitigating risks associated with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement contract management strategies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to contract administration activities.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and related legal frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
