Job description
As an Office Manager based in Riyadh, you will oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the Alvarez & Marsal office, ensuring a productive and efficient workspace. Reporting to the Country Operations Senior Manager, your duties will include managing vendors, supporting HR processes such as onboarding, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, coordinating with IT and real estate teams, controlling office budgets, and supervising junior staff. Youâll act as the central point of contact for all operational queries, while supporting business continuity and workplace optimization.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor and manage office supplies, IT equipment, and vendor services.
- Arrange and oversee office maintenance and equipment servicing.
- Coordinate with IT for technical support and quarterly visits.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.
- Manage first aid and fire warden certifications and training.
- Process vendor invoices and maintain timely payments via Agresso.
- Negotiate vendor and hotel contracts, ensuring optimal service levels.
- Support new joiner onboarding and coordinate IT equipment delivery.
- Issue and manage access passes for employees and contractors.
- Oversee office fit-out projects and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage room and desk reservations and handle office communication.
- Support HR with onboarding updates and new employee coordination.
- Lead junior staff in supporting daily office operations.
- Coordinate social events and update intranet with office news.
Experience & skills
- Relevant managerial experience, ideally in professional services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and budgets.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance protocols.
- Leadership capabilities with experience mentoring junior team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
