Job description
As Manager β Governance, Risk & Compliance Services (GRC) for Financial Services at KPMG, you will lead complex client engagements across Internal Audit, ICOFR, ERM, Corporate Governance, and Risk Advisory. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role includes mentoring and developing junior staff, driving business development, and enhancing service delivery through digital transformation, automation, and analytics.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple complex client engagements simultaneously
- Oversee engagement planning, execution, review, and reporting
- Act as primary point of contact for client senior management
- Ensure adherence to internal risk management, client acceptance, and regulatory compliance
- Provide technical guidance to teams and clients on GRC topics
- Support business development and cross-selling initiatives
- Drive innovation and methodology improvements including automation and analytics
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members; conduct performance reviews
- Manage engagement economics, including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Financial Services regulations and emerging risks
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting, or equivalent
- 8β10 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, ICOFR, ERM, Corporate Governance, or Internal Audit Quality Assurance
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of Financial Services regulatory environment (banks, insurance, investment firms, fintech)
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CA, ACCA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, BCM, or CCGP (mandatory or in progress)
- Proven experience managing multiple engagements concurrently (3β5)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Commercial awareness and engagement economics management
