The Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Dubai, UAE is responsible for managing all government relations and ensuring full compliance with UAE labor, immigration, and regulatory frameworks within a dynamic HR outsourcing environment. The role acts as the primary liaison between the organization and UAE government authorities including immigration departments, labor ministries, and other regulatory bodies. The PRO ensures timely processing of all government-related transactions including visa applications, renewals, cancellations, work permits, labor cards, and Emirates ID applications, while maintaining strict compliance with applicable UAE laws and procedures. The position is responsible for preparing, submitting, and tracking official documentation required by government authorities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory standards. The role includes maintaining accurate employee records, company licenses, and ensuring timely renewal of trade licenses, permits, and other legal documentation to prevent penalties or operational disruptions. The PRO supports employee onboarding and offboarding processes related to government documentation, including coordination with HR and administrative teams for approvals and compliance requirements. The role also involves handling document attestation and notarization processes when required, ensuring all legal formalities are completed accurately. Additionally, the PRO monitors changes in UAE labor and immigration laws and ensures organizational processes remain aligned with updated regulations. The position requires continuous tracking of application statuses, preparation of compliance reports, and maintenance of detailed logs of all government transactions. The PRO also provides guidance to employees regarding visa procedures and documentation requirements, ensuring smooth administrative operations and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and UAE government authorities including immigration, labor departments, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth processing of all official transactions.
- Handle visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and status changes while ensuring compliance with UAE immigration and labor laws.
- Process work permits, labor cards, and Emirates ID applications in coordination with employees and government authorities.
- Prepare, submit, and manage official documentation required by government entities ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain and update employee records, company licenses, and legal documentation to ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely renewal of trade licenses, permits, and other legal documents to avoid penalties and ensure business continuity.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes related to government documentation in coordination with HR and administration teams.
- Track application statuses, maintain government transaction logs, and provide regular compliance and progress reports to management.
Experience & skills
- Apply 2–5 years of experience in Public Relations Officer or government liaison roles within the UAE regulatory environment.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field as an educational qualification.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and government regulatory frameworks.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with government authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong networking and relationship management abilities within UAE government departments and regulatory bodies.
- Apply high attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation, compliance records, and legal submissions.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and regulatory timelines.
