An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Director to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The Engineering Director provides technical direction, develops strategies aligned with business objectives, fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation, and mentors the engineering team.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Provide technical direction and guidance, ensuring the use of best practices, methodologies, and technologies
- Identify potential risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and communicate strategic vision, goals, and objectives aligned with overall business strategy
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC Engineering, or relevant field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced), AutoCAD, and CMMS systems
- 10 years of experience in a similar technical or engineering role
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills
- Detail-oriented with creative thinking and effective project management capabilities
