Job description
Assumption studies, plan design studies, plan terminations, early retirement window studies, post-retirement medical and acquisition studies are the kind of special projects this Senior Retirement Actuarial Associate handles for Marsh in Dubai. Pension funds and retirement plans also rely on the team for actuarial analysis, valuation support and strategic recommendations. Some engagements you will lead, others you will support, and client meetings are often yours to run. Actuarial reports, presentations and client deliverables go through your preparation and review, with project timelines managed closely. Colleagues across consulting, risk and retirement disciplines are regular collaborators. Business development and client relationship growth are part of the picture too. The working pattern is hybrid, with at least three days a week in the office or on site with clients. Candidates need an actuarial degree, SOA or IFoA qualification or progress toward it, and 7+ years as a pension actuary or with a pension fund. Arabic speaking ability is required, and experience advising institutional pension clients or plan sponsors stands out.
