Job description
Day-to-day leadership of a Mace consultancy commission on UAE rail work sits with this Dubai-based lead, covering scope, client engagement, resources, quality and commercial performance. Passenger rail, freight, metro and integrated transport programmes make up the wider sector. Strategy, management plans, governance and delivery controls for the commission are yours to develop and maintain. Coordination stretches across the client, consultants, contractors, suppliers and the operator. Deliverables have to slot into programme, cost, risk, change, information and assurance processes. Performance is watched closely, with issues spotted early and corrective action put in place or recommended. Programme leadership relies on your reports, decision support and timely escalation, backed by clear records and audit trails suited to each contractual stage. Safety, quality, capability transfer and the shared net zero carbon goal also sit within the brief. Experience on rail, metro, high-speed rail or comparable major infrastructure programmes is essential, along with a relevant degree or equivalent experience and, ideally, professional chartership and GCC experience.
