Job description
Reporting directly to the CFO in Dubai, this Finance IT Manager acts as internal owner and primary custodian of Oracle Fusion. Finance modules in scope include GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Cost Accounting and Subledger Accounting, with subledger-to-GL reconciliation and month-end and year-end close support. Operational transactions from Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Order Management and Projects all need to land correctly in Finance, covering P2P, O2C and R2R as well as product costing, inventory valuation, WIP and COGS. Integration issues between Oracle Finance and the supply chain and manufacturing modules are identified and fixed here. Dashboards and management reports on revenue, costs, inventory, procurement, production and project performance come from a reporting framework you design. Automation and standardisation should cut spreadsheet dependency, manual entries and duplicate work. Controls matter just as much, with user roles, segregation of duties, audit trails and compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT kept in order. Oracle consultants, external providers and teams across time zones are coordinated through implementations, UAT and deployments. Shortlisting depends on meeting three conditions together, namely hands-on Finance or Accounting experience, strong Oracle Fusion Finance experience and a background in manufacturing, engineering, industrial services, supply chain, oil and gas or a similar project-based industry, plus at least 7 years of relevant experience.
