Job description
The Manager/Product & Propositions role drives growth and success of the Smiles App by leading product and proposition strategy within a multicategory, super-app environment. Acting as product owner for key Smiles propositions at a super-app level with customer-facing implications, the role defines and articulates vision and strategic product roadmaps, oversees end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to deployment and iterations, and coordinates propositions for the Mini-app platform alongside key marketing technologies required for the super-app. Responsibilities include stakeholder collaboration to gather and prioritize requirements from customers, partners, and internal teams; close partnership with UX/UI to ensure user-friendly, high-usability experiences; continuous market analysis of competition and trends in the super-app ecosystem to identify opportunities and threats; performance management by defining KPIs and monitoring analytics and feedback for user engagement and satisfaction; championing Agile/Scrum practices through sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog prioritization by business value; risk management with proactive mitigation strategies; and financial stewardship through budgeting and forecasting for product development resources. The role also provides leadership and support to cross-functional teams while promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Qualifications call for proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in mobile applications or digital products, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, underpinned by a bachelorās or masterās degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, within an inclusive environment at e&.

Key responsibilities
- Define and articulate the vision for the super-app and develop a strategic product roadmap aligned with overall business goals.
- Oversee planning, development, and launch of app features and enhancements, managing the lifecycle from concept to deployment and iterations.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, gathering and prioritizing requirements from customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure the app is user-friendly and meets high standards of usability and functionality.
- Monitor competition and trends in the super-app ecosystem and analyze market data to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for app success and monitor analytics and feedback to gauge user engagement and satisfaction.
- Champion Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and ensure the backlog is prioritized by business value.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution of the appās roadmap.
- Manage the budget related to product development, forecast resource needs, and adjust as necessary to meet product goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the cross-functional team and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorās or masterās degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrate proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in mobile applications or digital products.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a multicategory super-app environment.
- Show experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including sprint ceremonies and backlog prioritization.
- Be capable of acting as product owner for key Smiles propositions at a super-app level with customer-facing implications and for the Mini-app platform and required marketing technologies.
