Job description
Horizon Jebel Ali Terminals, part of ENOC, runs this Planning & Customer Care Manager role in Dubai to keep terminal operations optimized through timely scheduling and close coordination with sub-contracted activities. Client relationships sit at the heart of the job, built on understanding each client's business operations and terminalling requirements through ongoing contact and regular site visits. You'll schedule terminalling activities to meet agreed quality, quantity, time and cost criteria, coordinating within HJATL as well as with government entities and third parties, including clients' own service providers or customers. Monthly and quarterly work schedules get prepared for the terminal, maximizing output from each activity and synchronizing internal HJATL work with what third parties deliver. Stock management carries real financial weight, since it safeguards HJATL against potentially substantial liability, covering product testing and surveying coordination, MSDS library maintenance, and final stock reconciliation across received, utilized and remaining product quantities. Storage space and tank availability get communicated in good time to support HJATL's full occupancy target, with Chemstore coordinated as an overflow option when HJATL space can't meet client needs. Damage control matters too when service issues arise, managing client expectations while working to keep the relationship on solid ground. A BSc in an Engineering discipline, preferably Chemical, is required, along with 5 to 6 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
