Job description
Grant Thornton UAE audits more than 700 companies a year, from SMEs to international listed groups, and this Senior Manager role sits in the Dubai External Audit team serving Financial Services clients. Working alongside the Partner, you shape audit strategy, run a key client portfolio and organise and review the audit work. Large, technically complex clients are yours to lead. Seniors and Associates make up the team you manage, and Managers and Assistant Managers rely on your support. Project financials need close attention, covering budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection and variance recognition. Audit files have to meet GT methodology and the relevant accounting and auditing standards, and colleagues come to you for consultation on IFRS, IDEA, Horizon and Voyager. Business development matters here too, from building an internal and external network to negotiating engagement fees and helping set team strategy. Expect to bring 8 or more years of External Audit experience in a top international firm and an ACA, CPA or ACCA qualification, along with experience on large audits and complex groups.
