Job description
The Partnership Manager – Insurance Ecosystem at Orient Insurance PJSC, part of Al-Futtaim Group, is a dynamic role responsible for building and managing a comprehensive network of strategic partners that enhance and differentiate the customer journey across Orient Insurance’s retail and specialty insurance products, including Motor, Home, Medical, Travel, and other offerings. This position focuses on driving revenue growth, improving retention, and creating seamless ecosystem integration by identifying, onboarding, and managing strategic partnerships across multiple sectors, such as automotive services, home services, healthcare, wellness, fintech, travel, lifestyle, and digital platforms. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, including product, claims, IT, marketing, legal, and operations, to ensure smooth integration of partners and alignment with product strategy. The successful candidate will leverage commercial insight, negotiation skills, and relationship management expertise to develop value-added solutions, track partner performance, and deliver tangible benefits for customers, partners, and Orient Insurance. Additionally, the role involves market research, ecosystem mapping, and identifying innovative partnership opportunities across the UAE and GCC markets to maintain a competitive edge and support the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners across relevant sectors, including automotive, home services, travel, healthcare, wellness, fintech, and lifestyle
- Develop partnership proposals, commercial terms, and value propositions aligned with Orient Insurance’s product and business strategy
- Negotiate contracts and agreements ensuring regulatory compliance and commercial viability
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and integrate partnership-based enhancements for Motor, Home, Travel, and Medical insurance products
- Serve as primary liaison for partners, managing day-to-day interactions, performance tracking, KPIs, and service levels
- Conduct periodic business reviews with partners to ensure sustained value delivery
- Research and map potential ecosystem partners within the UAE and GCC, staying updated on emerging technologies and consumer trends
- Collaborate with Marketing to co-develop campaigns, joint offers, and cross-promotions leveraging partner networks
- Work with Operations and Claims teams to optimize partner-related processes and ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management on partnership performance, pipeline, and ecosystem opportunities
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in partnerships, business development, ecosystem management, or vendor management, preferably in insurance, banking, fintech, telecom, or consumer services
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and contract management experience
- Experience working with service providers, aggregators, digital platforms, or B2B partnerships
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple partners and projects concurrently
- Understanding of the UAE insurance market is strongly preferred
- Strategic thinking with an ecosystem mindset
- Analytical ability to evaluate partner ROI and business impact
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
