Job description
Al Ghurair's Foods and Resources businesses need a single senior voice for technology, and this Vice President, IT Business Partnering provides it from the corporate office in Deira, Dubai. As a member of the Group Digital and Technology leadership team, you set direction for the business unit technology portfolio and share accountability with business leaders for the value it returns. IT Centres of Excellence, platform principals and delivery partners are commissioned and directed against that direction. Business operations are analysed for efficiency gains, and solution assessments run through RFP processes managed across business and IT. BU-specific solution architecture takes group applications and the wider application estate into account. New software roll-outs are monitored for business controls, and adoption plans are owned well after go-live. Proofs of concept, emerging application technologies and process optimisation feed recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team. External partners, contractors and project teams are managed closely, and an agile mindset shapes continuous improvement. Expect to bring 8+ years managing and delivering technology solutions, including healthcare experience, 4+ years leading a team, a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or IT, and ideally PMP certification.
