Job description
The External Fulfillment Specialist – Operations role at Amazon Operations within Q-Express Documents Transport supports the daily execution and optimization of fulfillment and sort center activities at DXB6. The role oversees inbound, outbound, and Sort Center processes, ensuring efficient workflows, adherence to standard operating procedures, and achievement of operational performance targets. The position requires strong operational knowledge of core fulfillment centers, hands-on coordination with teams and external stakeholders, and the ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements. The role involves monitoring performance through KPIs, leveraging Microsoft Excel, automated tools, and dashboards, and working collaboratively across teams while supporting Amazon’s customer-centric and operational excellence culture.

Key responsibilities
- Manage daily inbound, outbound, and Sort Center operations
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and efficient workflows
- Lead and motivate team members to meet operational performance targets
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fulfillment operations
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators

Experience & skills
- Possess 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products and applications
- Demonstrate strong operational knowledge of inbound and outbound fulfillment processes
- Exhibit understanding of Sort Center activities and workflows
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong Excel skills with experience using automated tools and dashboards
- Be able to work rotating schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be able to work 40 hours per week with overtime as required
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative working approach
