Job description
Whether a client's internal controls actually work is the question at the heart of this Senior Associate role in PwC's Risk Consulting team in Riyadh. Answering it means planning and running compliance, financial and operational internal audits, then testing control design and operating effectiveness against each client's objectives and regulatory environment. Findings are written up with their impact, risks and recommendations, and reported back in a way clients can act on. Reporting to Managers and above, you keep engagements on time, within budget and aligned with the firm's KPIs. Several clients also want support with their Internal Audit Plan or help setting up an internal audit function of their own. Associates on the engagement look to you for review and coaching. Experience of 3 to 6 years in internal audit, ideally within a Big 4 firm, is expected, alongside a grounding in governance, risk and compliance. Arabic and English are both required at a bilingual level, travel across the Middle East and beyond is frequent, and a CIA, CPA, CRMA, CFE, CGRCP, PMP or CMA would strengthen your application.
