Job description
The Senior Consultant - Transformation Architecture - Business Consulting role at EY Riyadh is focused on delivering strategic, data-driven, and technology-enabled transformation solutions for clients across various industries. The position involves leading engagement workstreams, managing client relationships, and delivering high-impact consulting projects that drive performance optimization and sustainable business growth. The consultant is expected to apply structured problem-solving, business case development, and systems thinking to design and implement end-to-end process improvements. The role combines analytical, strategic, and operational expertise, emphasizing data-informed decision-making, client co-creation, and evidence-based recommendations. Working within a globally connected and high-performance team culture, the consultant will support proposal development, opportunity identification, and business transformation initiatives while coaching junior team members and ensuring delivery excellence. The position demands a deep understanding of business architecture, solution design, and integration, with opportunities for regional travel and cross-sector exposure across the Middle East.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage assigned workstreams within client engagements, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery aligned with project objectives
- Serve as a key client contact for designated workstreams, maintaining effective communication and relationship management
- Supervise and mentor junior consultants and analysts, providing quality reviews, coaching, and guidance throughout project delivery
- Analyze client challenges and opportunities to develop tailored, data-driven transformation solutions
- Design and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Validate and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data to support evidence-based decision-making
- Identify potential project delivery risks early and recommend corrective measures or mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with managers and engagement leaders to allocate internal resources efficiently and align capabilities with client requirements
- Support business development initiatives, including proposal writing, stakeholder research, and opportunity scoping
- Invest in continuous professional growth by enhancing sector knowledge and seeking feedback and mentorship opportunities
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading academic institution; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, strategy development, or business transformation
- Proven experience working directly with senior stakeholders and managing client relationships
- Expertise in client co-creation, solution design, and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Proficiency in business case development, implementation planning, and systems thinking
- Strong ability to integrate data-driven and technology-enabled solutions into consulting engagements
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in report and presentation development
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with multiple stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel across the Middle East based on client and project requirements
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights
