Job description
Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Senior Escrow Manager to lead and grow its escrow services portfolio. The role focuses on driving strategic client acquisition, product diversification, regulatory engagement, and operational excellence while supervising a high-performing team to achieve revenue growth and compliance with UAE Central Bank and RERA regulations.

Key responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate the Escrow team to ensure performance and accountability
- Act as deputy to the Department Head in meetings and strategic initiatives
- Develop and execute annual escrow portfolio targets and client acquisition plans
- Engage with developers, real estate brokers, law firms, and government regulators to source new business
- Expand escrow CASA portfolio into new sectors such as Owners Associations and Government-led initiatives
- Enhance relationships with regulators by promoting innovation and transparency in escrow management
- Identify market gaps and propose new escrow product lines
- Collaborate with internal teams to design escrow structures in compliance with regulations
- Oversee governance across onboarding, disbursement, and closure processes
- Ensure coordination between front-line and back-office teams for efficient operations
- Resolve operational challenges, regulator queries, and technical issues promptly
- Review and approve MIS, regulatory reports, and audit responses
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10–12 years’ experience in banking, with a minimum of 5 years in escrow or cash management
- Established relationships with UAE regulators such as RERA, DLD, ADM, DARI, and CBUAE
- Proven track record in CASA growth, mandate conversions, and market development
- Strong leadership, regulatory liaison, and operational management skills
