The Senior Specialist – Logistics Centers (Receiving Operations) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing receiving processes within distribution center operations. The role focuses on managing all aspects of receiving operations including unloading, sorting and processing inbound shipments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of received shipments and updating inventory records in accordance with established procedures. It includes supervision of team members to ensure efficiency, accuracy and teamwork, and collaboration with other warehouse departments such as inventory control, warehouse operations and quality control to ensure smooth flow of inbound products. The role requires monitoring receiving operations to maintain high operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements within the receiving area. The position demands proficiency in receiving operations, knowledge of inventory systems and processes, skill in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance receiving processes and expertise in monitoring and analyzing KPIs to drive continuous improvement. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in distribution center receiving operations demonstrating leadership capabilities is required along with experience in a relevant field.
