Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and assist with budget monitoring.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Handle month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and expense reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely postings in accounting systems.
• Supervise accounts receivable and payable processes with weekly aging reviews.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and support both regional and group-level financial reporting.
• Submit VAT and WHT returns for Middle East entities in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in external audits and resolve discrepancies or compliance issues.
• Manage global payment processes and petty cash disbursements.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts across Tractebel entities worldwide.
• Apply and promote adherence to IFRS standards and internal accounting policies.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.
