Job description
The Senior Specialist β Logistics Systems role within the Operations Division, Supply Chain and Logistics Department at Red Sea Global focuses on the design, configuration, optimization, and support of SAP SD processes to enable seamless order-to-cash operations and integrated supply chain workflows for trading and wholesale businesses. The role is responsible for configuring end-to-end SAP SD processes for goods and services including Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Third-Party Sales, Intercompany, and Intra-company transactions, ensuring accurate pricing, efficient order management, and robust system integrations. The position supports pricing procedures, promotions, rebates, billing plans, sales order processing, delivery creation, invoicing, customer returns, and rejection handling, as well as customer master data, pricing agreements, customer credit management, and payment processing including customer advance payments. The role collaborates on solution design and automation, integrating SAP S/4HANA with B2B Marketplace platforms, Warehouse Management Systems, and other SAP modules to deliver a best-in-class, touchless supply chain. The Senior Specialist provides technical leadership across SAP SD project implementations, enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, system stability, compliance, training, documentation, and strategic roadmap planning for future SAP enhancements aligned with organizational business objectives.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize end-to-end SAP SD processes for trading and wholesale businesses including Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Third-Party Sales, Intercompany, and Intra-company transactions
- Set up and maintain pricing procedures, promotions, rebates, billing plans, and customer credit management frameworks
- Implement and support standard and custom sales order types, delivery processing, invoicing, customer returns, and full or partial rejection handling
- Design and support interfaces for customer master data, pricing agreements, customer credit management, and payment processing including advance payments
- Collaborate on solution design and systems integration between SAP S/4HANA, B2B Marketplace platforms, WMS, and other dependent systems
- Configure batch jobs and forward and backward scheduling based on material availability to automate delivery creation
- Support customer credit control, sales order approval workflows, output form design, and cross-functional SAP SD configurations
- Support end-to-end SAP SD project implementations including configuration, customization, testing, and go-live activities
- Design and implement SAP SD system enhancements and upgrades to align with evolving business requirements
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for SAP SD issues to ensure system stability and performance
- Collaborate with supply chain, sales, order management, purchasing, and logistics teams to streamline business processes
- Identify and implement SAP SD best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency and continuous improvement
- Engage internal stakeholders to gather SAP SD requirements and propose aligned technical solutions
- Coordinate with SAP vendors and third-party consultants for implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support
- Develop training materials, deliver end-user training, and ensure effective SAP SD knowledge transfer
- Create and maintain functional and technical documentation including configuration guides, troubleshooting manuals, and process flow diagrams
- Provide user support and ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, data security, and data integrity
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Software Engineering, Management Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or Business
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP SD including configuration, implementations, and customizations
- Possess proven experience supporting SAP SD projects using project management methodologies
- Demonstrate experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules such as Marketplace, MM, WMS, and FICO
- Hold SAP SD certification, which is highly preferred
- Demonstrate technical expertise in order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, order management, and systems integration within supply chain or logistics environments
