Job description
The Field Engineer role in the Emerging Talent Program is designed for recent graduates to gain career-shaping experiences over approximately 36 months. Field Engineers act as the key interface between on-site teams and clients, working technically and professionally to lead crews and ensure proper installation, maintenance, and startup of equipment. The role includes hands-on problem solving at rig sites, preparing and documenting inbound and outbound equipment, providing tender support including data analysis and cost estimates, and performing invoicing activities. Participants engage in job shadowing to develop a holistic understanding of the business and gain mentorship, career development training, and exposure to senior leaders. The program develops skills in equipment handling, project management, technical troubleshooting, teamwork, leadership, data analysis, and operational execution within energy technology environments.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with crew members to deploy tools and services, liaising with customers and shore-based Operations Managers
- Participate in finding solutions to complex technical problems through hands-on work at the rig site
- Prepare, document, and manage outbound and inbound equipment and products to and from well sites
- Provide support for tenders, including data analysis and cost estimates, and perform invoicing activities
- Engage in job shadowing opportunities to develop a holistic understanding of the business
Experience & skills
- Have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or similar within the last 36 months
- Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Be legally entitled to work within the country without company sponsorship or time restriction
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, leadership, critical thinking, numerical and data analysis abilities
- Aptitude for teamwork and ability to guide others
