The Research Analyst role within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice at FTI Consulting in Dubai sits in the firmās Research and Intelligence team, which supports consulting teams across practices and industries by providing high-quality research, analysis, and intelligence for client engagements, business development initiatives, and pitch preparation. The Research Analyst is responsible for handling research requests from consultants, independently managing low-complexity research assignments with minimal guidance, and supporting senior team members in the development of internal products, services, and intellectual capital across industries. The role includes delivering clear, structured, error-free, and exhaustive research outputs, developing industry knowledge to build subject matter expertise, and contributing to knowledge management activities, including project wrap-ups and internal documentation. The position also involves timely execution of administrative tasks, mastering internal research and workflow processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and utilizing tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, secondary research methodologies, and research databases. The role is embedded in a professional services consulting environment focused on corporate finance, restructuring, crisis, and transformation advisory, offering structured learning, coaching, professional development programs, and exposure to global consulting engagements within FTI Consultingās collaborative and expert-driven culture.

Key responsibilities
- Support consulting project teams and business development teams by responding to research and intelligence requests across corporate finance and restructuring engagements
- Independently handle low-complexity research requests with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of outputs
- Develop and contribute to internal research products, services, and intellectual capital across industries supported by FTI Consulting
- Present research findings in a clear, structured, and professional format suitable for consultants and senior stakeholders
- Deliver error-free, comprehensive, and well-documented research outcomes aligned with project requirements
- Build and maintain industry knowledge through continuous learning to support subject matter expertise development
- Execute administrative and operational tasks consistently and on time to support the Research and Intelligence teamās service portfolio
- Master internal team processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and research workflows
- Support senior team members in project wrap-up activities and related knowledge management documentation
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorās degree or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrate experience in a professional services organization or research-focused role
- Show familiarity with secondary research methodologies and research databases
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess knowledge of additional technology tools relevant to research and analysis tasks
