Job description
The Senior Social Media Executive at VOX Cinemas (Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment) is responsible for managing the cinemaās digital presence, engaging audiences, and growing brand awareness through strategic social media campaigns. The role focuses on developing compelling content, coordinating with creative teams and agencies, monitoring engagement, and using analytics to optimize performance. The position plays a vital part in movie promotion, events, and overall online engagement.

Key responsibilities
- Play a key role in promoting movie releases, special events, and promotions while engaging with the cinemaās audience to ensure a vibrant, active online community.
- Develop and execute engaging, original content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) to promote movies, events, and VOX cinema-related activities.
- Manage the content calendar with the support of the Social agency, ensuring timely and relevant posts aligned with marketing campaigns and cinema releases.
- Collaborate with the creative team and Social agency to produce high-quality visuals, graphics, and video content.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns for movie premieres, special screenings, and promotional campaigns / events to drive ticket sales and customer engagement.
- Utilize both organic and paid social media strategies to maximize reach and audience growth working with the Digital team.
- Work with the agency to monitor comments, messages, and reviews, ensuring a positive and responsive brand presence acting as an advisor for the agency on any non-standard queries.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, impressions, etc.) to assess the success of campaigns and inform future strategies.
Experience & skills
- Graduate in business or marketing discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years marketing experience within the Entertainment and Leisure industry or similar.
- A good understanding of marketing, branding and online trends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills.
