Job description
Presight, an ADX-listed company under the G42 umbrella, is the MENA region’s leading big data analytics company powered by GenAI. It serves public and private sector organizations with advanced analytics and AI solutions that create meaningful business and societal impact. Presight is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its development team in Abu Dhabi. The role will focus on building, scaling, and deploying infrastructure and platforms that support advanced ML processes within big data analytics systems. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, architects, and software engineers to implement automated deployments, monitoring, and CI/CD improvements, while also exploring ML-Ops technologies to enhance AutoML capabilities.

Key responsibilities
- Design and implement automated change, release, and upgrade management practices across products and solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to propose and deliver suitable infrastructure solutions.
- Review and improve CI/CD principles and service maturity iteratively for continuous improvement.
- Set up and manage monitoring and alerting tools to ensure application and service availability and performance.
- Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose measurable improvements.
- Research and develop ML-Ops technologies and techniques to support AutoML solutions.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and Governance policies and procedures.
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in Linux and 3+ years in DevOps engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
- Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with modern monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Preferred: experience in database clustering, high-availability strategies, and performance tuning.
- Preferred: experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
- Preferred: experience with SQL databases and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
