Job description
The Associate Director, Priority Banking at Standard Chartered Bank will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, acquiring new customers, and delivering premium banking services. The role requires a strategic approach to revenue generation, client engagement, cross-selling financial and investment products, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The incumbent will collaborate across departments to drive business growth, maintain service excellence, and uphold a customer-centric approach aligned with the bankās objectives and values.

Key responsibilities
- Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development
- Drive digital agenda and product awareness for priority clients
- Acquire new high-net-worth clients and meet defined targets in volumes and revenue
- Induct new customers acquired through branches and direct sales teams
- Prepare sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers
- Maintain updated MIS on sales calls, prospects, attritions, and business performance
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by handling complaints and delivering professional service
- Lead by example, promote values and culture of Standard Chartered Bank
- Ensure documentation, KYC, AML compliance and identify suspicious transactions
- Support and adhere to anti-bribery, money laundering and financial crime risk guidelines
- Obtain and maintain SCA license within 6 months and fulfill CPD requirements
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
- SCA certified or must complete certification within 6 months
- Minimum 5ā7 yearsā experience in relationship or priority banking
- Strong knowledge of investment and capital market products
- Ability to develop and execute business and networking strategies
- Experience working with affluent or HNI customer segments in UAE
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Awareness of local banking regulations and multicultural business environments
