Job description
The Revenue Manager at Arabella Beach Hotel, part of the Vignette Collection, is responsible for optimizing the hotel’s revenue streams by implementing best-in-class revenue management practices. This role involves analyzing room and non-room profitability, forecasting, pricing strategy, and account negotiation to maximize occupancy and profitability. The Revenue Manager works closely with internal departments, external partners, and the hotel’s customer base to implement dynamic pricing and distribution strategies, monitor market trends, and ensure all revenue opportunities are captured effectively.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize room occupancy, revenue, and profitability across all hotel segments.
- Analyze daily pick-up, market trends, competitor activity, and booking patterns to make informed pricing and distribution decisions.
- Oversee hotel distribution strategy, including OTAs, FIT, tour operators, corporate accounts, and consortia.
- Perform competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify new revenue opportunities.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue forecasts, variances, and budget comparisons.
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of data in PMS, Channel Manager, CRS, and booking platforms.
- Assess, analyze, and price group business strategies to maximize revenue contribution.
- Support the annual revenue budget process with analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align revenue initiatives with guest experience and brand objectives.
- Represent the hotel at sales events, trade shows, and client site inspections to acquire and develop new business relationships.
- Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates to ensure profitability and service standards.
- Provide guidance and coaching to hotel staff regarding revenue management practices and procedures.
- Ensure all guest-facing processes and online booking channels are up-to-date and functional.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or Economics.
- Proven experience as a Hotel Revenue Manager with knowledge of yield and distribution strategies.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (PMS), Channel Manager, CRS, GDS, and Extranet tools.
- High-level command of Excel or other data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder and guest interactions.
- Ability to monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to adjust strategies.
- Experience managing multiple revenue streams, pricing, and account negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Team leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff.
- Understanding of guest experience impact on revenue and operational standards.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and responsible business operations in hospitality.
