Job description
GE Aerospace has been on the ground in the UAE for over 40 years, with an On Wing Support Center, MRO partnerships and offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Airport Freezone. Inside that operation, engine output depends on components arriving on time, and this position plans and executes a defined components scope to support product line engine output and gate 2 closure. Suppliers and vendors across the globe are in daily contact, with steady follow-up to improve materials availability and precision on gates allocation. Master planning, production schedules and purchasing needs sit with you, measured against the production plan and KPIs. Inventory has to stay controlled, and ERP cleansing keeps engine closures, billing and demand closures accurate. Reports and stakeholder meetings run on precise data that other functions can also access in the system. Over time, you will build in-depth knowledge of aerospace configuration management. At least 4 years in aerospace or airlines and advanced experience in manufacturing and materials planning and execution are required, with APICS CPIM, MRO and customer-facing experience all counting as a plus.
