Job description
A fast-growing renewable energy and clean infrastructure business, running a portfolio of entities across generation, mobility and efficiency solutions, needs a Senior Legal Counsel to sit close to the General Counsel as a genuine right hand. Commercial contracts, corporate and governance matters, and ad hoc M&A and financing transactions all pass through this seat. You operate with a high degree of autonomy as a key legal contact across the full lifecycle of projects and transactions, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business. Legal, corporate and governance support gets provided across the company's generation, mobility and efficiency solutions. EPC, O&M, supply, services and partnership agreements get drafted, reviewed and negotiated as part of the day to day workload. Corporate structuring, project development and transactions draw on your advice regularly. Diligence, document review and closing processes on M&A and financing transactions sit within your control, alongside identifying and mitigating legal, regulatory and contractual risks. External counsel get instructed and managed, and junior members of the legal team are mentored along the way.
