Job description
The purpose of the role is to grow business of a Practice/ Service Line in a territory by acquisition of new logos/ clients. The role involves developing strategies, driving pipeline and revenue growth, managing client and partner relationships, and executing high-value deals. It is a leadership role responsible for influencing client thinking, guiding internal teams, and shaping solutions aligned with Wipro's strategic initiatives in digital, cloud, and cyber security.

Key responsibilities
- Provide inputs to and execute the hunting strategy for a Service line in assigned territory.
- Define priorities and strategies to drive focus and achieve targets.
- Understand the Practice/ SL strategy and focus areas and their application in own domain.
- Interact with advisors and partners to understand market dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Identify new logos, MHAs, target customers, and opportunities.
- Create engagement plans for target accounts and prioritize focus.
- Develop and execute sales plans with quarterly targets.
- Drive focus on revenue growth and management of account pipelines.
- Lead proposal development, negotiation and deal structuring.
- Engage with clients and advisors during solution development and sales pursuit.
- Monitor revenue realization and order fulfilment.
- Drive collections according to the accountâs cash-flow plan.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with CXOs and stakeholders.
- Conduct client review meetings and resolve escalations.
- Identify partners and influencers in the vertical to enhance market access.
- Build internal and external networks for deeper client engagement.
- Execute engagement plans for target accounts and conduct client workshops.
- Leverage partners and Wipro leadership for thought leadership events and pursuits.
Experience & skills
- Proven experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in IT or consulting.
- Experience in account planning, stakeholder management and complex deal execution.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, cloud, and cybersecurity services.
- Track record in pipeline development and sales target achievement.
- Ability to work across geographies and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience in proposal writing, commercial negotiations, and closing large deals.
- Understanding of the competitive landscape and market intelligence.
