Job description
The Senior Specialist - Corporate IT Security Operation at Qiddiya Investment Company in Riyadh is responsible for managing and enhancing the organizationās corporate IT security operations. The role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital assets through proactive monitoring, incident management, and implementation of cybersecurity best practices. The position oversees daily security operations, leads threat detection and incident response efforts, and collaborates with IT and other departments to maintain strong defense measures across all corporate systems. The specialist will develop and enforce security policies, perform risk assessments, monitor logs and events, and ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations. Additionally, this role involves educating employees on cybersecurity awareness, preparing detailed audit and incident reports for management, and staying current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies. The successful candidate will have strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills, supported by experience in SIEM tools, incident response, and corporate IT environments.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily corporate IT security operations, including threat detection, monitoring, and incident response
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to corporate infrastructure
- Analyze security alerts, logs, and events to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and unusual activity
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security evaluations to strengthen the companyās cybersecurity posture
- Coordinate with IT and other departments to integrate robust security measures across corporate systems and applications
- Lead incident response activities, including containment, investigation, remediation, and post-incident analysis
- Train employees on IT security policies, awareness programs, and best practices to promote a security-conscious culture
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, risk assessments, audits, and compliance findings for senior leadership
- Stay up to date with evolving cybersecurity threats, frameworks, and technologies, applying enhancements as necessary
- Ensure continuous improvement of security operations processes through automation, optimization, and best-practice adoption
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security operations, preferably within corporate or enterprise environments
- Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management principles
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, incident response methodologies, and security monitoring tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively under pressure
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to explain technical security concepts to non-technical audiences
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred
- Proven experience in developing and enforcing security policies and managing security incidents
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed reporting, auditing, and compliance documentation
