Checkout.com, a global financial technology company powering billions of digital payment transactions annually across a global network spanning 19 offices across six continents, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Commercial Product Partnerships – MENA to join its Commercial team in Dubai. The role serves as a strategic bridge between global Product Management and regional Commercial teams, acting as the regional subject matter expert responsible for aligning product innovation with local market needs across the MENA payments ecosystem. The Senior Specialist will drive product adoption and revenue growth across the Checkout.com product suite, focusing on product expertise, market intelligence, and localized product strategy. The position involves mastering the Checkout.com product suite, understanding configurations, features, regulatory requirements, and merchant-specific needs within the MENA payments landscape. The role requires developing market intelligence through macro trend analysis, emerging vertical identification, competitor monitoring, and technology trend tracking to inform regional roadmap decisions. The Senior Specialist will lead product commercialization, define regional go-to-market strategy, support sales enablement, build merchant pipelines, forecast Net Revenue impact, and drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing merchant base. The role involves collaboration with global Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and regional Commercial stakeholders, leveraging data analysis, usage analytics, financial metrics, and market insights to influence product positioning and deployment. The position requires building backbook merchant pipelines, forecasting revenue, managing merchant adoption, supporting large-scale payments ecosystem growth, and delivering actionable insights to commercial leadership while strengthening Checkout.com's commercial footprint across the MENA region.

- Become the regional product authority by mastering the Checkout.com product suite at a granular level, understanding product configurations, features, regulatory requirements, and aligning solutions with local merchant needs across the MENA payments ecosystem.
- Drive product-market fit by acting as the bridge between global Product Management teams and regional Commercial stakeholders, providing feedback loops, tailoring value propositions, and ensuring solutions align with local market demands.
- Develop and own market intelligence by analyzing macro trends, emerging verticals, and technology adoption within the MENA payments landscape to identify growth opportunities and influence regional roadmap development.
- Monitor competitor activity, emerging technologies, and industry developments, providing actionable insights to commercial leadership and ensuring Checkout.com maintains market leadership across payments solutions.
- Lead product commercialization by defining and executing regional go-to-market strategies, supporting sales enablement, and ensuring local sales teams are equipped to position and sell targeted payment solutions.
- Build and manage merchant pipelines by identifying backbook merchants, tracking opportunities, forecasting Net Revenue impact, and driving cross-selling and upselling strategies across the merchant portfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams to translate market insights into deployed product solutions and operational strategies.
- Leverage data-driven decision-making by analyzing usage analytics, financial metrics, and market data to develop commercial strategies, optimize product adoption, and improve revenue growth.
Experience & skills
- Possess 6+ years of experience in Commercial Strategy, Product Management, Management Consulting, or complex B2B sales environments supporting product commercialization and market strategy execution.
- Demonstrate experience working within fintech, payments, or complex technology ecosystems, with ability to quickly grasp technical product concepts and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders.
- Show strong commercial strategy expertise including revenue forecasting, pipeline management, cross-selling, upselling, and merchant portfolio growth strategies.
- Demonstrate market intelligence capabilities including macro trend analysis, competitor analysis, emerging technology evaluation, and growth opportunity identification.
- Possess data-driven decision-making capabilities including analysis of financial metrics, usage analytics, and market data to drive commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration experience with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams to deploy product strategies and solutions.
- Show ability to define go-to-market strategies, support product commercialization, and drive product adoption within regional markets.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of MENA payments ecosystem, merchant needs, regulatory considerations, and fintech product deployment strategies.
