Job description
GE Aerospace has worked in the UAE for over 40 years, with offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Airport Freezone, an On Wing Support Center and the Middle East Technology Center focused on hot and harsh environments. This Advanced Lead Engineer supports the installed engine base from Dubai within Aviation CES Maintenance Technology & Operations. Customer issue resolution, fleet issues and service bulletin implementation make up much of the work. Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration, fleet data maintenance and outage management complete the technical scope. Engine reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and performance data feed decisions you make with analytical judgment. Direct reports rely on you for staffing decisions and performance development. Small, low-risk projects may be yours to lead, and less experienced colleagues use you as a resource. Procedures can be adapted where results still meet standards for quality, volume and timeliness. Candidates bring advanced Engineering/Technology and Fleet Management experience at a level comparable to a Bachelor's degree, plus strong communication and project management skills, and relocation assistance is available.
