Job description
The Head of Credit Control at Tahaluf will be responsible for managing and optimizing credit control and collections operations. This includes developing effective strategies to maintain cash flow, ensuring compliance with the Etimad portal for government payments, and enhancing collection systems and procedures. The role involves close collaboration with sales, shared service teams, and government entities to align objectives and streamline financial processes. This is a high-impact leadership position requiring deep expertise in credit risk, team management, and operational finance in a dynamic B2B events environment.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of credit control and collections operations for Tahaluf
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies, particularly during critical pre-event periods
- Navigate and manage all aspects of the Etimad portal including payment processing, documentation, and compliance
- Execute and oversee implementation of system enhancements and automation projects
- Establish and maintain robust processes for query and dispute resolution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Informa shared service teams and government entities
- Develop partnerships with sales and business teams to ensure aligned financial objectives
- Create and maintain detailed client-specific action plans with clear escalation protocols
- Provide comprehensive reporting on collections performance and key metrics
- Lead and develop the credit control team, ensuring high performance and growth
- Implement and maintain effective credit risk assessment procedures
- Establish clear policies and procedures for credit approval and collections
Experience & skills
- Saudi National preferred
- 10-15 years of experience in credit control and collections management
- Proven track record in team leadership and management
- Experience in the events industry or similar B2B environment is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
