Job description
The Digital Cloud Solution Architect (DCSA) within Digital Sales and Solutions (Discipline: Digital Cloud Solution Architecture; Role type: Individual Contributor; Employment type: Full-Time; Work site: 3 days/week in-office; Travel: 0â25%) operates in Microsoftâs Small Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C) organization, a high-growth, AI-powered global sales team focused on customer success and partner-led adoption. The DCSA serves as the central technical point of contact for a strategic set of customers across business, education, or government, shaping customer relationships and driving cloud and enterprise consumption on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities span leading and managing engagements to achieve revenue and consumption targets; leveraging best practices to guide customer strategy and future growth; expanding, retaining, and optimizing Azure consumption through analyses of customer usage versus needs; providing guidance and recommendations that cultivate customer affinity with Microsoft programs/solutions; applying technical knowledge and customer insights to create a roadmap and architect solutions that ensure technical viability and successful deployments; orchestrating key resources and infusing core infrastructure technologies; running Architectural Design Session(s) to build implementation plans aligned to customer business goals and technical environments; collaborating and orchestrating with other Digital Cloud Solution Architects and the Microsoft ecosystem to ensure properly deployed cloud solutions on Azure; and accurately managing customer progress in CRM to forecast, assess risk, and identify exceptional performance plans in weekly deal and pipeline reviews. Key responsibilities
- Lead, drive, and manage customer engagements to achieve repeatable revenue and Azure consumption targets
- Leverage best practices to guide customer strategy and growth, expanding Azure usage by cultivating affinity with Microsoft programs and solutions
- Conduct analyses of customer usage versus needs to expand, retain, and optimize Azure consumption and provide guidance and recommendations
- Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create solution roadmaps and architect solutions that meet business and IT needs with technical viability
- Orchestrate key resources and infuse core infrastructure technologies to ensure successful deployments on Azure
- Run Architectural Design Session(s) to build implementation plans aligned to customer business goals and technical environments
- Collaborate and orchestrate with other Digital Cloud Solution Architects and the Microsoft ecosystem to ensure proper deployment of Azure solutions
- Manage customer progress in CRM to forecast accurately, assess risks, and define performance plans in weekly deal and pipeline reviews with management
- Provide feedback to Microsoft on customer development needs, blockers, and mitigation strategies to improve adoption outcomes
Experience & skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English with preference given to Saudi citizens
- Experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales; OR a Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with relevant experience; OR relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms with relevant experience
- Ability to lead engagements that achieve revenue and consumption targets and expand Azure usage
- Proficiency in conducting usage-versus-needs analyses and translating insights into recommendations that expand or optimize Azure consumption
- Capability to create technical roadmaps and architect Azure solutions ensuring technical viability and successful deployment
- Experience running Architectural Design Session(s) and producing implementation plans aligned with business goals and technical environments
- Skill in collaborating across a partner ecosystem and with other solution architects to orchestrate successful Azure deployments
- Competence in CRM-driven pipeline management, forecasting, risk assessment, and weekly deal review processes within a digital-first sales motion
