Job description
Mastercard is seeking a highly experienced Senior Managing Consultant to lead the deployment of card product strategies as part of its Specialized Product Delivery team in the UAE. This leadership role focuses on end-to-end commercialization of new card products, driving client growth, developing market strategies, managing large transformation programs, and mentoring internal and client teams. The consultant will be responsible for aligning new product launches with strategic goals, ensuring successful execution and continuous product optimization across Mastercardās client base. This is a high-impact, client-facing role that integrates digital innovation, strategic thinking, and operational excellence within the payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the commercialization and launch of new products, including pricing, sales tools, and training.
- Monitor post-rollout product performance and resolve issues for continuous improvement.
- Support client profit and growth initiatives for card products, managing revenue and costs.
- Provide strategic direction across product management, audit, compliance, and complaints support.
- Develop and execute revenue-generating strategies aligned with consumer banking and enterprise goals.
- Guide sales teams in using products to solve complex client challenges.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to support product growth.
- Ensure successful end-to-end product solutions for all client segments.
- Lead internal training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
- Perform competitive benchmarking and pricing reviews periodically.
- Develop customer-centric product strategies and digital-first value propositions.
- Monitor regulatory and competitive environments to keep products competitive and compliant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Ops, Credit, Risk, Legal) for seamless execution.
- Manage the delivery of large client programs from initiation to benefits realization.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through Mastercard solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and lead internal/external meetings and presentations.
- Contribute to solution development and represent Mastercard as a brand ambassador.
Experience & skills
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Cards Product Management.
- Proven experience in delivering large, complex transformation programs.
- Strong domain knowledge of the payments industry and digital banking trends.
- Bachelorās degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong program and project management skills with structured execution approach.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with PM tools preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with limited resources.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
