Job description
Every non-academic part of Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, from health and safety and facilities to contracts, compliance and campus planning, comes under this Operations Manager. Capital projects are managed day to day, including capex budgets, governance structures and risk mitigation, with renovations and large-scale procurement handled alongside landlords, contractors and design teams. Third-party contracts for security, cleaning and maintenance, school buses and onsite catering need close management. Compliance with Qatar's regulatory agencies, NAE standards and legal requirements is non-negotiable. Budgeting, procurement and event logistics for all non-academic functions also sit with you. The team you lead includes the Procurement Officer, Operations Assistant, facilities team, bus support assistants and medical team. Space planning, room moves and building maintenance are coordinated with the Extended Leadership Team, and the Principal looks to you for advice on resources and for cost savings through supplier negotiation. Candidates need a university degree and previous experience in a similar operations management role, with Qatar or Middle East experience desirable.
