Job description
Clinical services at Bupa Arabia's Integrated Care Center (ICC) in Riyadh need a single clinical leader, and this Medical Director is accountable for quality, safety and patient-centred care across the centre. About 40% of the role is hands-on clinical work, with consultations, diagnosis and treatment delivered within your specialty. Clinical governance meetings, medical committees, credentialing and privileging all sit with you. MOH regulations and CBAHI standards shape the centre's policies, and accreditation preparation is led together with the Medical Quality team. Patient safety improves through close tracking of clinical KPIs, IPSG implementation and root cause analysis of adverse events and near misses. Physician recruitment, appraisals, scheduling, training needs and disciplinary matters fall under your management. Day-to-day operations need smooth patient flow, shorter waits and adherence to care pathways and referral protocols. Strategy and growth also figure in the role, from new clinical services to relationships with MOH and reporting outcomes to senior management. Candidates need a degree in medicine and surgery, experience leading multi-specialty ambulatory care, clinical governance and CBAHI or JCI accreditation, fluent Arabic and English, and Saudi nationality.
