Job description
AIR/SAT Diving and ROV operations carry serious risk, and at Milaha Offshore & Marine this Senior Specialist makes sure every one is risk-assessed, documented and run by competent people with approved equipment. The wider brief covers HSE and Quality across all operational sites, keeping ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations in place. Risk workshops including HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS and SWIFT are planned and facilitated with clients and stakeholders. Project documents such as HIRAs, Bridging Documents, Emergency Response Plans and Safety Cases are developed, approved and reviewed for effectiveness. Site visits, internal audits, inspections and gap assessments keep compliance on track, and client reporting tools carry daily, weekly and monthly HSE statistics. Safety culture gets equal attention through behavioural safety initiatives, mental health and well-being practices and targeted awareness training. Project Managers and Business Unit leadership rely on you for expert guidance. Candidates need 8 to 10 years in similar HSE/Quality roles, ideally offshore, with Chartered IOSH membership or a NEBOSH Diploma, ISO Lead Auditor certification, advanced incident investigation training (Tap Root or Kelvin TopSet) and valid BOSIET/H2S OPITO. Strong knowledge of IMCA and IOGP guidelines is essential, while GCC, Survey and Arabic experience are a plus.
