Job description
Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Business Development for the Digital Giants segment to lead strategic client relationships across the EEMEA region. The role focuses on developing strategies, growing revenue, and expanding Mastercardās footprint with digital giants by embedding multiple products, platforms, and capabilities that drive innovation. Based in Dubai, the role requires a commercially astute professional passionate about digital innovation and payments, capable of operating strategically and tactically, and skilled in building relationships with key stakeholders including banks, governments, and large digital players.

Key responsibilities
- Develop strategy and grow revenue in the Digital Giants segment across EEMEA markets
- Identify and pursue opportunities with new or existing customers/markets
- Build mutually aligned strategies and plans with assigned accounts and execute effectively
- Drive Mastercard revenue growth by developing business cases and ROI analyses
- Lead responses to RFPs and negotiations with partners
- Provide customer-specific recommendations based on financial and payment data
- Build and maintain senior-level business relationships with partners
- Create account roadmaps and ensure alignment via QBRs and regular interactions
- Lead contract development, terms sheets, and deal commercialization
- Develop and manage pipeline and go-to-market strategies for the ecosystem
- Represent Mastercard at global forums, conferences, and events
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in business or equivalent experience (Masterās preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in deal commercialization and P&L management
- Proven work experience with payments, data processing, and financial industry practices
- Significant experience in sales and business development within payments/financial services
- Thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics and competitive landscape
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in multicultural environments
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills
- Comfortable engaging with senior-level and C-suite executives
- Fluent in English; Arabic is optional
