The Equity Research Analyst or Associate within J.P. Morgan’s EMEA Equity Research franchise will operate as part of the MENA Healthcare and Consumer Research Team based in Dubai International Financial Centre. The role focuses on developing a deep understanding of equities, markets, companies, and sector dynamics with a particular emphasis on the Healthcare sector, while also covering Consumer sectors as required. The position involves close collaboration with senior analysts to generate actionable investment ideas, thematic insights, and high-quality equity research outputs for institutional clients. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating valuation models and financial databases, performing detailed data analysis, forecasting, preparing and publishing research reports such as quarterly results alerts, stock-specific reports, and thematic research pieces, and staying current on company-specific and industry-wide developments. The role also requires regular communication with institutional investors, company management teams, and internal stakeholders including Sales, Sales-Traders, and Traders, ensuring insights are clearly articulated and aligned with client needs. Analysts and Associates are expected to contribute thought leadership, support potential stock coverage based on readiness, and participate in a collaborative, high-performance research environment that provides early responsibility, exposure, and structured professional development within J.P. Morgan’s Commercial & Investment Bank.
