Job description

In this role you will plan, coordinate, and execute technical projects at Hexagon Autonomous Solutions to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role combines engineering expertise with project management skills, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and handover. You will have strong and broad high-level knowledge of the mining systems deployed, acting as a point of escalation for technical issues raised by the team while working through the escalation process to seek resolution. You will work with Project Managers to ensure the efficient deployment of mining systems on time and within budget, and you are responsible for ensuring the deployment of systems and products is carried out as efficiently as possible. Your responsibilities include actively working on product/project deployment of complex mining solutions in a hands-on manner, supporting and maintaining software, and delivering bespoke customization as required. You will troubleshoot system issues, own and implement customer system configurations, and implement system customizations using scripting tools. You are responsible for participating in onsite system installation efforts and undertaking complex problem solving involving multiple integrated systems. In this role you will ensure relevant stakeholders are aware of risks or issues with the product and technical solutions being deployed, escalating critical issues requiring input from other stakeholders. You will maintain technical knowledge of current and upcoming product offerings, provide regular reporting on project issues, and work collaboratively with the sales team in a pre-sales capacity.
