Job description
Wipro Limited is looking for a Field Support Engineer to join its team in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for desktop and field support operations, ensuring seamless IT infrastructure service delivery, especially across Windows and Mac operating systems. You will be the first point of contact for client-side troubleshooting and IT operations support, including systems, software, and networking issues.

Key responsibilities
- Provide desktop support services including hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting.
- Work with Windows and Mac OS environments to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Support end-users both remotely and on-site, delivering technical assistance across various devices and applications.
- Ensure all incidents and service requests are documented and resolved within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain knowledge of ITIL best practices and apply them to incident, problem, and change management.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain asset management records and perform routine system audits.
- Provide installation, configuration, and upgrade services for software and hardware components.
- Utilize technical certifications to uphold enterprise-level support standards.
- Maintain a valid driverās license for travel to various client locations.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop support and field IT services.
- Extensive experience with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Knowledge of major desktop and network operating systems.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and spoken Arabic is mandatory.
- Technical certifications including Cisco and Microsoft.
- ITIL certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Valid Saudi Arabian driverās license is required.
