Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, FactSet, Nasdaq, MSCI and S&P Global subscriptions all run through this position at a leading Abu Dhabi investment organisation. The full lifecycle of market data services sits with you, from new requests and user additions to transfers, renewals, downgrades and cancellations. Subscription agreements, licensing terms, notice periods and termination clauses need close reading, since a missed deadline can lock in unwanted costs. Vendor negotiations cover pricing, renewal terms, enterprise arrangements and service agreements. Spend is optimised by consolidating licences, reviewing usage and cancelling services that are not pulling their weight. TRG Screen Optimize and Optimize Spend are the main tools for contracts, inventory, spend and renewals. Invoices and licence charges are reconciled against contract terms, and records of users, costs and contract dates are kept accurate. Finance, Legal and investment teams are regular partners, and the wider procurement team will call on you when needed. Around 8 to 10 years in procurement, contracts or vendor management, with hands-on market data experience, is required for this permanent, on-site role.
