Job description
The Market Intelligence Officer (Pricing & Analytics) role at Panda Retail Company is responsible for acquiring competition prices and gathering competitive market intelligence to support pricing and analytics functions. The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and reporting market and competitor pricing data in line with business requirements, while operating within a retail store operations environment. The position requires hands-on execution of multiple pricing and market intelligence tasks, often under demanding conditions, and involves field-based data collection supported by strong product knowledge. The role utilizes computer systems and retail systems for data handling and reporting, with regular use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. The position requires bilingual capability in English and Arabic and the ability to adapt to different systems while supporting pricing and analytics activities across the retail network in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire and collect competitor pricing information across the market to support pricing and analytics requirements
- Gather competitive market intelligence and ensure accurate reporting in line with defined business requirements
- Execute multiple pricing and market intelligence tasks under challenging field conditions to ensure full market coverage
- Utilize retail systems and computer tools to record, analyze, and report pricing and competitive data
- Apply strong product knowledge to ensure accuracy and relevance of collected pricing and market intelligence data
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 1 to 2 years of experience in store operations within a retail environment
- Apply excellent product knowledge to support pricing and competitive market intelligence activities
- Use English and Arabic effectively with strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
- Show good understanding of and adaptability to retail and pricing systems
- Hold a valid driving license and be capable of operating as a driver for field-based market intelligence activities
- Demonstrate ability to work under hard conditions while managing multiple pricing and market intelligence tasks
