Job description
Architecture design across a full range of asset types sits with this Senior Architect position, based in Dubai within the Cities & Development Engineering team. You will manage scope and schedule to keep every project aligned with its objectives, while ensuring compliance with project requirements and design standards throughout. Design packages get integrated across disciplines, and Safety in Design principles run through implementation from the outset. Delivering the architecture mandate sits alongside stakeholder engagement as part of the senior management team, with the design process itself managed creatively and aesthetic quality kept front of mind. Collaboration with the Design Group, Delivery team, and Project team carries designs from concept through to completion across residential, mixed-use, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, civic, and cultural typologies. Drawings and presentations get prepared, developed, and edited, and production is supervised from visualization through pre-concept, concept, developed, and detailed design stages. Architects, Designers, Managers, and Professionals within the department report into the role, alongside leadership of qualitative design reviews presented to Executive Management. Materials schedules, sample boards, FF&E schedules, sourcing, and mock-ups fall under the same oversight, and design issues get resolved creatively while staying within budget and the agreed design approach.
