Job description
ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) is the platform at the centre of this Senior HAM Developer role, based on-site in Riyadh. Hardware assets need tracking from procurement and receiving through deployment, maintenance, transfer and disposal, and the solutions you build make that lifecycle visible and cheaper to run. Most of the configuration work happens in HAM Pro, covering asset models, model categories, stockrooms and inventory processes. Integration is a big piece too, linking HAM with CMDB, Discovery, Procurement and other ITSM modules. Day to day, you write and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes and Flow Designer flows in JavaScript, and work with REST APIs, data imports and transform maps. Reports and dashboards on inventory, utilization, lifecycle status and compliance also come from your desk. Asset audits, upgrades and troubleshooting fill the rest of the week, in close contact with procurement, finance, infrastructure and service desk teams. Expect to bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development with strong HAM experience, with CSA and CIS-HAM certifications preferred.

- Develop, configure and customize ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow HAM Pro capabilities
- Manage the full hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, receiving, deployment, maintenance, transfer and disposal
- Configure hardware asset models, model categories, asset records, stockrooms and inventory management processes
- Integrate HAM with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Procurement and other ITSM modules
- Maintain workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer and other ServiceNow components
- Reconcile discovered hardware with asset records and manage inventory tracking and data quality
- Create reports and dashboards on hardware inventory, asset utilization, lifecycle status and compliance
- Automate hardware asset management processes to improve operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve HAM technical and configuration issues
- Collaborate with IT asset management, procurement, finance, infrastructure and service desk teams
- Carry out testing, deployment, upgrades, integrations and ongoing platform maintenance
- Prepare technical documentation
- Support hardware asset audits and compliance activities
Experience & skills
- Bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with strong Hardware Asset Management experience
- Demonstrate practical experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow HAM Pro
- Understand hardware asset lifecycle management and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes
- Show experience with hardware asset models, model categories, stockrooms, inventory and asset relationships
- Apply knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and asset-to-CI reconciliation
- Write JavaScript and ServiceNow scripts proficiently
- Use Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer and ServiceNow integrations
- Connect systems through REST APIs and other integration techniques
- Handle data imports, transform maps, testing and debugging
- Know ITIL processes and hardware asset compliance requirements
- Hold the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (preferred)
- Possess the ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM) certification where applicable (preferred)
- Offer familiarity with procurement, purchase orders, vendor management and contract processes (preferred)
