Job description
The Warehouse Supervisor β E-commerce Fulfillment at GMG in Dubai is responsible for managing end-to-end e-commerce order fulfillment operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders from picking to handover to last-mile delivery partners. The role oversees order fulfillment performance, SLA adherence, order rejection management, quality compliance (QX), and operational excellence. The supervisor manages a warehouse team of 20 Warehouse Associates and 4 Team Leaders, plans shifts, allocates manpower according to order volume and priorities, and conducts daily briefings, performance reviews, and productivity tracking. The role requires training team members on e-commerce processes, quality standards, and WMS usage, identifying skill gaps, implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce errors, monitoring order volumes and backlog, and coordinating with last-mile delivery partners for timely shipment handover. Compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping is mandatory, and the position requires strong analytical, reporting, and operational management skills.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete e-commerce fulfillment cycle including order allocation, picking, quality check (QX), packing, and handover to last-mile delivery partners
- Ensure all e-commerce orders are fulfilled within defined SLAs and cut-off timelines
- Monitor daily order volumes, backlog, and dispatch performance using WMS and operational dashboards
- Maintain strict adherence to picking accuracy, quality check standards, and packing guidelines
- Investigate, justify, and report on order rejections and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Coordinate with last-mile delivery partners to ensure timely and accurate handover of shipments
- Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements
- Manage, train, and develop a team of 20 Warehouse Associates and 4 Team Leaders
- Plan shifts and manpower allocation based on order volume and priority
- Conduct daily briefings, performance reviews, and productivity tracking
Experience & skills
- Diploma or Bachelorβs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 3β5 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Mandatory experience in e-commerce fulfillment operations
- Prior experience managing large operational teams
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience with inventory control systems
- Previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
