The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Supervisor role at Amazon Operations is responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies within the Global Amazon Warehouse and Delivery Network to ensure high levels of equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency. The role focuses on ensuring safety compliance with Amazon safety standards and regulations while driving preventive maintenance activities to a high standard. The position supports Amazon’s customer-centric operations, ensuring seamless delivery performance from order placement to final delivery. The supervisor is responsible for monitoring daily shift reports, analyzing operational data, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The role includes overseeing cycle counts, stock health reviews, stockout tracking, and performing data analysis using reports and dashboards to identify operational gaps. The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Supervisor assigns work orders to shifts, tracks inventory discrepancies, and ensures availability of critical spare parts. The role also involves performing regular spare parts surveys, identifying gaps, and communicating requirements to line management. The position requires monitoring and responding to maintenance-related customer requests through trouble ticketing systems while maintaining a customer-obsessed approach. The supervisor plans and observes annual maintenance contract vendor activities and prepares shift handovers for operational continuity. The role ensures high equipment uptime, supports facilities management functions, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and delivery operations.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Amazon safety standards and promote safe working practices across all maintenance operations
- Analyze daily shift reports, dashboards, and operational data to identify maintenance and equipment performance issues
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules to ensure high equipment availability and reliability across warehouse operations
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and physical inventory reviews including stock health and spare parts tracking
- Monitor and analyze stockouts, inventory discrepancies, and recurrence patterns to improve maintenance efficiency
- Assign work orders to shifts and ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks across operational teams
- Perform spare parts inventory surveys to identify gaps and communicate requirements to line management
- Respond to maintenance-related customer requests through trouble ticketing systems with customer-focused approach
- Plan and supervise vendor activities under annual maintenance contracts and ensure shift readiness and continuity
Experience & skills
- Hold Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or demonstrate minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Demonstrate experience in electrical or mechanical engineering within industrial, warehouse, or facilities environments
- Demonstrate knowledge of preventive maintenance and reliability engineering practices for equipment and systems
- Demonstrate experience in facilities management and maintenance operations
- Demonstrate ability to analyze operational data using reports, dashboards, and inventory tracking systems
- Demonstrate experience managing spare parts inventory, stock health analysis, and cycle counting processes
- Demonstrate experience using trouble ticketing systems for maintenance request management
- Demonstrate ability to manage shift operations, assign work orders, and coordinate maintenance activities
- Demonstrate understanding of safety compliance standards and operational risk management in warehouse environments
